Meeting the parts within me, my want of a better world,
“Who are you and why?” I ask. Silence.
The more I reject them, the more they fight back,
obviously, for their survival.
I calm down, smile at them, and wait for them to smile back.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I see my light;
it’s bright and calming, even when everything around me is just black.

I played a bit with this old drawing, of bus Station Striyskyi in Lviv, Ukraine, which I did for a record cover a few years ago. The building is a simple example of Soviet modernist architecture; minimal and raw, so the first version of my sketch is.

The form might follow function, but the radical and true wolves might not. Somewhat furious, somewhat calm, observative, sly, hiding rage which still at times visits them softly...
