confronting, suppressing, liberating?
Required to be strong; you don’t need anyone!
Masking those heightened emotions
fiercely getting out of your hand
hiding those black precious pearls
because who else could accept that heaviness?!
Where is the one that can embrace your crimson and beautiful soul?
They won’t be here for long, you think
they will leave you to rest with nothing
before you can get up and go
emotionless, dangerous

Meeting the parts within me, my want of a better world,
“Who are you and why?” I ask. Silence.
The more I reject them, the more they fight back,
obviously, for their survival.
I calm down, smile at them, and wait for them to smile back.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I see my light;
it’s bright and calming, even when everything around me is just black.

All that we experience is divine, we don’t experience or feel anything by accident,
and every single emotion is a source of truth. Sit with it and you will understand. It wants to be seen,
it wants a right to live and die.

How we lay our exhausted minds in the mud of a poisonous digital world when all that’s left from our strangely beautiful human connection is battling to simply exist, but there are no more hearts to reach… to feel secure, and accepted. To belong, beyond the safe screens of the pocket robot friends.

The Radical Wolves.

I played a bit with this old drawing, of bus Station Striyskyi in Lviv, Ukraine, which I did for a record cover a few years ago. The building is a simple example of Soviet modernist architecture; minimal and raw, so the first version of my sketch is.

The form might follow function, but the radical and true wolves might not. Somewhat furious, somewhat calm, observative, sly, hiding rage which still at times visits them softly...
