About
Juli Jah
Illustrator
Berlin, Germany
Juli Jah is Juliana Žamoit; a Lithuanian-Polish visual artist based in Berlin.
Working from a wide range of subjects there is a certain fragility to observe in Jah’s work; this can be seen particularly by the expressive used of diluted colour. These in juxtaposition with the cutting angular lines used in the illustrator’s work have combined to create expressive pieces that can range from a more informal caricature to a stunningly detailed and more realistic one; even though many of her pieces explore surrealist ideas.
